You can't fight in here! This is the war room!

Okay, I have just bought my new iBook and am having some fun with it. Anyway, it has iMovie on it and perhaps we can use it, or not. Don't play around with the Benedict scene. I thought it was just fine the way it is. If'n it ain't broken, don't not fix it (that is three negatives for those of you keeping track). Okay, you all have a fun day.

RIIGHT.

So.
That didn't work on Friday. "At the Picnic" wasn't such a good idea, apparently. We will talk Monday, say after Marching Band, and plan the rest; Jon will bring his camera, or since school has started perhaps we can borrow Mark Maxson's. I won't be working for him, but I intend to spend time in the Lab (what with Music Theory and all).
Ben -- did you for some cause retrieve your Rubber Duck and Chicken? If you didn't, I'll ask at the DPA Office. They gave the prop dock to someone for their locker; it's perfectly reasonable, if slighty inconvenient, behaviour.
Hmmm...
That's all there is: there isn't any more.

L'chaim!

So.

Friday, after (during?) the Marching Band Picnic, we will attempt to finish our Noble Filming Quest. Gregorio Matt Kinney de la Cruz de Santo Palumbo de Guadalupe Moreno Diego de la Vega Rastafar has agreed to finish filming in exchange for the use of my Music Theory textbook.
It's the perfect setting -- Hot dogs, a crowd of odd Band Geeks, a source of water; it's even almost on campus!
Several things must be ready:
Jon, Charge the Camera Battery!
Gregorio Matt Kinney de la Cruz de Santo Palumbo de Guadalupe Moreno Diego de la Vega Rastafar, have your costume!
Myself, bring the Duck!

Oh -- I'd also like to re-do the Father Benedict Scene, the same only this time more Scottish.
Anyhow, I wonderful day to you all.

next week

Perhaps next week? that late on Saturday is no good for el Diego Rastafar. Es tut mir leid.

onsdag, august 18, 2004

Och, aye.

Aye, indeed. That there be.
O Holy Prophet Rastafar (am I being sacreligious or just sarcastic?), there is more. If you want to do the last couple things, that's dandy. Let's find a time. Perhaps this Saturday Afternoon sometime --> I finish work at 3 (my last day -- I am very sad.:( :[ ). So we can do the last bit. And I think we'll actually end the film by pilfering the last 5 seconds from Tricia Gerard's movie -- unless, O Goodly Matt, you would like to recreate that bit of silly singing (chanting?) in Rastafar Costume.

I'll post it here too:
You're all invited to the Fourth Annual Pride and Prejudice Party: August 28 at 5pm. The Band Geek Blog has a map and more info!.

Is there more?

So, um, is there any more filming to be done? sorry I missed getting to someone about Monday. I was off celebrating the day of my birth. I'll tryandcheckblogmoreoften.

Thanks for all of your time and participation

It was great fun to film such a silly project for no real reason other than to have fun and stimulate our minds. Thanks to everyone who participated in filming. I won't be making it for additional filming on Monday (today). So sorry. Also, just see about converting the footage into a computer file and set it aside. I will be up on a Saturday in the near future and we can begin the long process of cutting the film together and adding music (the part I look forward to the most). Anyway, thanks again for everything.

Here's the deal

First off, Ben, the title to your second to last post is hilarifunny and applicable.

I can film friday before about 2:30.

Saturday I'm available pretty much all day until Jason's shindig...

At least I think I am. I'm not for certain. Something keeps nagging me from my subconsious and saying *small voice* "Hey, there's something you agreed to do on Saturday, so do it, or no more endorphines for you!"

But I can't bring either my Id or my conscious self to remember what that might be, if indeed it is my subconscious and not simply the jetlag talking in the corner of my mind.

So, for next week then, my schedule is as follows:
Monday, free during the day
Tuesday, free between about 2 and 5 or 6
Wednesday, free till the evening
Thursday, not free at all
Friday, free til 2:30 or 3

It's not just me and it's not just you; this is all around the world.
-Paul Simon

That is to say, since we took the trouble to film some of the thecond thula in three other counthries, you mighth conthider uthing the foothage in the film.

Quote of the day: Whose cruel idea was it to put an 's' in 'lisp'?

Song of the day: Would You Love Me by Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand
(and Rain Falls Down isn't a half bad tune either, but it's more relaxed, so it didn't make song of the day for today - perhaps later when I'm in the right mood it will surface as such; Banjo Boy is just plain fun)
[I hope I get to go to another of their concerts sometime]

So saith Andrew

We can film next week druing the afternoons because both Ben and Andrew don't have afternoon workage. Plus, Andrew's parents are out of town. So, any afternoon/evening that is also available is great filmage timing. Also, lets still do it on Saturday, just with no Father Benedict/Murt Burdock scenes. So saith Andrew.

Saturday is a special day

The thing with doing it on friday is 1) I'm working 'till noon and 2) going from work to a date at the zoo. This trip is also including Andrew, Kristen and mayhaps Jon (if his date accepts, that is). So, filming on Friday is right out. Of course, if we broke the onlyfilmatweberstateuniversitycampus rule, then we could film at the zoo, but I doubt any would like to do that, so let's jettison that idea, shall we; man this is a long sentence. So, filmage is only possible on Saturday. Of course, we could do scenes in which Jarrett is not a part of on Saturday, if that is fine with him. Ok, well, I'm'a headin' out.
Later, yo.

Title What?!!

An idea for y'all... And a quote straight from the band hall, capable of being thrown as a wrathful insult or cursing. Mayhaps it could find its way into the production... and, the moment yer all've been awaiting, the quote straight from the Band Hall itself (and, of course, taken entirely out of context) -Ahem- "The smell of your Salmon is making me sick!"

..... just an idea ......

Pleeeeeeeeeease avooooooooooid loooooooong pooooooooost tiiiiiiiiitles

Otherwise I'll just have to comma you.

It comes to this: Saturday is quite out of the question for me, unless it were early morning. But Friday, the 6th, has some potential. I don't work that day at all, and don't have much to do. Please, therefore, inform me of a time that will work for all of you that day, if any time will. We desperately need to hurry or this isn't going to happen.

Good day to all.

mandag, august 02, 2004

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, eeeeee!

Good to have you back. Yes, the Parisians are extremely rude. America Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I was thinking that Saturday is going to be hard to work with. People will have work in the morning (Ben and Jarrett) and a certain person named Jason is having a certain ceremony called a wedding on that day. I for one was planning on attending the reception for dancing and merriment (okay, not for dancing, but definatly merriment). I think the festivities begin around seven-ish in Bountiful. Perhaps you might be able to swing it to leave work a bit early on that day and we could commence the filming that afternoon, say 'bout 2 o'clock or so. Alright, what say ye? Lets get this thing off the ground.

p.s.: Please avoid seeing "The Village". It was not very good as evidenced here and here. Ben will tell you differently, but he is only lying to perpetuate an evil plot by Touchstone pictures to aquire more money than they already have.

Sea Quail, Rubber Ducky

These two items are on my list of acquirage. Do not fret, my friendly ones, they'll be in my possession before the next session of filming begins.
Later, yo.

I have Returned.

Let the Parade begin.
Time to capitalize Nouns!
But seriously, I'm back. So today I will Czech my Work Schedule and blog another Post as to when on Saturday we can film JÞII. I am very pleased to be Home, but I had a fantastic Time in Germany, Czecha, and France. The Parisians are very rude.

If you can avoid Charles de Gaulle airport, do.
